Place ribs in large stock pot, pour beer over until completely covered. Cook on medium high heat (or over campfire) until boiling, then lower heat and cover. Cook for 2-3 hours, depending on pot size and number of ribs. The longer they cook, the more tender they will be, but you don’t want them TOO tender to move around on grill.

Drain ribs, then place on grill rack or in large baking dish. For baking, baste with bbq sauce, then place covered pan in oven and bake at 350 for 30 minutes to 1 hour. For grilling, place on grill, baste with bbq sauce.. Grill each side approximately 7-10 minutes - adjust according to grill temperature. Serve with plenty of napkins!
